I fell so hard for this band, it's absolutely ridiculous!!!
It just feels like they don't care what's in the music, as long as it sounds good!
Then it is definitely something like I had never heard before, but I sure as hell like it...
If you are looking for something different or to put you in a relaxed mood, make sure you check out ALT J!!

Vampire Weekend

I'm in LOVE with this band!!
I had heard it once and I didn't like it so much. But now, I really liked it...
I guess it depends on the mood I have when hearing them...
I'm looking forward to see it live July 12th here in Portugal!! :D

The IT Crowd

One more example of British comedy at its finest...
A friend of mine recommended me this show a couple weeks ago, and I'm almost in the last season, I know it only has four, calm down!!
I believe I still prefer "The Big Bang Theory", just because I find it more accessible to foreign people, estrange from their culture, like me. Also, it's related to physics and engineering which I find very interesting.

     But, back to the point!!
If you're interested in comedies as well as computers, "The IT Crowd" is a great hilarious show, and "The Big Bang Theory", are both very interesting and definitely addictive.

Freaks and Geeks

I'm in love with this show!!
It's just really funny and different. Nothing like those shows that they show now on television. It feels real and I think it describes well what happened back in the day... At least in the US.

Thinking about it, I always get a bit shocked with the different social groups that they show in these types of series.
They seem very strict almost as if they can't talk to another people, ever.
I guess I find it strange because here we don't have situations like those. We just get along with whoever we want, and people are fine with it... Or maybe I just live in a nice city with nice people.
Anyway... I just wanted to do a little update :) x

Forever? Lying...

Tumblr_lqletze2n11qgmrkso1_400_large

I guess not everything can last forever.
Our lives just go by cycles. There are good ones and there are bad ones.
And then there are those times that things just go away and never come back.
They say "If you love something, let it go". Well, I that's really crappy. If you love something, why does it have to end? Why should we let it go?
I think we should hold on to it and make the best of every chance we have.
What I'm trying to say is that, I don't like when things change. I liked it just the it was. Sometimes it was difficult and there were problems but at least everything was the way it was supposed to be! I believe you should have tried harder... And now you could just shut up and leave us in peace.
But it didn't turn out the way I wanted, did it? Well, now it's late, hope all ends well for everyone.

Angry Birds and Argentina

Argentina_grunge_flag_sjpg1055_large
The other day I was thinking about where I was born.

Although I leave in Portugal, I was born in Argentina. All my family is Portuguese, but when my parents got married they moved to Rosario, Argentina so my dad could work in a family business there. And I was born there! Actually it is the same place where Messi was born, not that I care that much about football/soccer, only really important games. I prefer volleyball!
I remember thinking that my parents adopt me there and brought me to Portugal. I don't know why. However, there isn't any picture of my mom pregnant with me or of me as a baby. So when I was younger I used to think that but I never told my parents. I guess, as I grew up I thought it didn't make any sense, since I looked more and more like my aunt and also mom and dad. And yeah, some people may say that me and my brother look alike but I beg to differ.

I believe that's enough of me and my boring story...
But, if you like Angry Birds here's the link to one of my friend's videos that it's really cool. He's probably going to upload another one soon I'll tell you when that happens! :) x

p.s. I don't speak Spanish, unfortunately... :(

New York, New York...

I prefer to write in English rather than in Portuguese.
I don't know why, I think that words just flow more easily. So, sorry for any mistake I might do.
Anyway....
There's this teacher that has a program to go to New York this Summer and do all these amazing things. And I would really like to go. BUT, I didn't want to go alone. I think that it is always so much funnier when you go with friends that you can hang out and do crazy things with.
However, it is kind of expensive and in these times it is not easy, at all, to get the money to travel. Therefore, if there is anyone interested in joining me, I wouldn't mind. :D
I just think it would be a great opportunity and a wonderful experience. :)

Also, I have been watching a LOT of British youtubers. There are so many and they are sooo good! I spend too much time watching their videos, but oh well!
Here are some of my favorites and their links. I hope you enjoy them (if you watch it) as much as I do:

Ok, I guess that's enough, now. Also, watch this video that some people from my school made, and I think it's quite good.

See you next time! :)  x
